HE COMES IN EARLY, BESUITED

He comes in early, besuited.
I come in late – besuited, too,
but dreaming of being naked.

He with his neat polished shoes,
his sweet polished smile.
I with my hangover.
I with the fish on my shoulder.

I am clever, but stupid.
He is stupid, but clever.
